Suzuki SlingShot has won the Bike India Award 2011 for the 'Bike of the year – up to 125cc'. Now Suzuki India is giving its two-wheeler buyers a little pleasure by launching a new option of the motorcycle called the Suzuki SlingShot Plus. Wondering what pluses you'd obtain in the new variant? Well, the list is pretty little as the new variant sports a visor which covers the device console, right above the headlight. According to Suzuki this increases the method quotient. The 'Plus' variant will be available in three trims - drum brake and alloy with kick start for Rs 50,350, with self start at Rs 52,518, and the top of the line with front disc brake, alloy and self start for Rs 54136 (OTR Pune), which is about a thousand rupees more than the basic SlingShot.

This naked street fighter has the potential to become the most affordable 650cc superbike in India. This is one rumour we heard in recent times that we really hope comes true. According to industry buzz Suzuki India may be looking at launch gorgeous street fighter, Gladius 650 in India soon. The naked street fighter is powered by a 645cc, 2-cylinder sporty engine.

According to the report, 2010 will witness the Japanese auto major add three more superbikes to its India line-up, which include the mighty B-King and the flagship Gixer 1000 along with the Gladius. The bike sells for Rs 3 lakh in the US market and if Suzuki could price it around the Rs 7 lakh mark, this could very well be the cheapest big bike offering in India.
