Special Discount Offers On Yamaha FZ-S & FZ16

In order to further improve the sales of its FZ series, Yamaha has come up with a new offer for its customers on FZ-16 and FZ-S. If you are an owner of any of the Yamaha bike or a student then this one is for you. One offer is the Customer Referral benefit for FZ series and the other is the Student benefit offer.

In Custom Referral benefit scheme you can refer any of your friend to buy a Yamaha FZ-16 or FZ-S and you will get a reward of Rs. 500. Not only has this, the friend of yours who purchases the bike also gets a discount of Rs. 2500 on the bike.

In the other offer of Student benefit if you are a student then you will get cash reward of Rs. 3000 on the purchase of a Yamaha FZ-16 or FZ-S. This offer is valid from 6th July Valid till 31st August 09.

Yamaha to sell spare parts for RX100 and RD350

yamaha Motor India is planning to provide genuine spares for these motorcycles in a bid to regain customer confidence. Yamaha Motor India CEO and Managing Director Yukimine Tsuji told the media, "We are talking to the vendors for providing spare parts even for our older bikes, like RX 100 and RD 350, to win back the confidence of our customers."

Yamaha is also planning to invest Rs. 240 crore in 2010-11 on developing more than two new India specific models and is aiming for 600 dealers by 2010.

Yamaha To Sell More Than Half A Million Bikes In 2009

In order to expand its business footprints in India, Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha is eyeing to sell more than half a million bikes in 100 to 125 cc segments in 2009. The company is striving to add 80 more new dealers this year under its brand to compete with its strong competitors.

Yamaha is aiming to sell more than two lakh units this year, as compared to 1.20 lakh units last year. Commenting on the plans, Mr Tsutomu Mabuchi, CEO and Managing Director of Yamaha Motor India said, "Our fundamentals in the country are not as strong as our competitors. For the last one year, we are working to improve our fundamentals ... which include setting up strong sales, services, dealership and spare parts network."

Highlighting company's performance in last one year, Mr. Mabuchi stated that due to restructuring and launch of new bikes, sales of Yamaha in the first six months of the year has turned around. The company also plans to roll out FZ , the air cooled bike in 150cc segment in October this year.
