Rossi not to replace Massa
The rumour mills were buzzing with reports that Rossimight switch to Formula One racing in the next few weeks and would replace the injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa. These reports suggested that after former F1 champion Michael Schumacher withdrew from stepping into Massa's cockpit, due to the German's neck injury, team boss Stefano Domenicali held several discussions with Valentino Rossi.
Though 'the Doctor' has done some testing sessions with Ferrari in the past, he never considered migrating from two to four-wheel racing. To everyone's surprise Rossi admitted that when he'll quit MotoGP racing, he'll like try his skills in the World Rally Championship.
The Yamaha rider was quoted by the International media that he has spoken a lot with Stefano Domenicali in these last days about the return of Schumi, but hasn't received an offer to drive for the F1 team. More over Rossi cannot race motorbikes and F1 at the same time.

Rossi among top five most paid athletes
Who says motorcycle racing isn't a paying career? The recent figures from Sports Illustrated reveal that MotoGP star, Valentino Rossi is the fifth most paid athlete in the world. His earnings stand at a staggering US$ 3,50,00,000 or 170 crore rupees per annum!
This amount includes salary, bonuses, endorsement incomes and appearance fees. Rossi was placed seventh last year but improved his standing this time and shares the fifth position with F1 champ Fernando Alonso. Just to make our readers understand how much he earns, the Italian MotoGP rider's yearly earnings can fetch him more than 2000 brand new 2009 Yamaha R1s.

Rossi challenges Bayliss!
Seem like news is following Rossi lately, for his antics on and off the track. Apart from winning MotoGP titles, doing testing duties for the Ferrari F1 team and finishing in 12th place in a World Rally Championship race, there are other automobile racing distinctions Rossi would like to achieve.
Valentino Rossi, better known as the Doctor will be competing in the second round of the World Superbike Championship at Losail, in Qatar on 15th March. Troy Bayliss has also decided to accept the challenge by returning from his retirement one last time to compete against the Doctor.
According to reports Rossi will be seen in action on the R1 while Bayliss will be riding the Ducati Corse 1098. Rossi will also have long time arch-rival Max Biaggi and AMA Superbike Champion Troy Corser for on-track company!
Rossi has always maintained that he wanted to race against Bayliss. Lately, he has said in interviews that Superbike Championship Racing is more interesting for him than MotoGP. Don't miss it as the Superbike Championship round at Qatar will definitely be one of the most viewed sporting events in history.
