Ten10 Racing Enters Motogp
TEN10 Racing has announced that it will participate in MotoGP in the 125cc two stroke class. For this TEN10 has teamed up with WTR, which is a San Marino based team who already are running bikes in the 125cc class and Moto2. It was a surprise for racing fans of bikes in India as TEN10 and WTR have signed Sarath Kumar, a young eighteen year old rider from Chennai, who has become the 1st Indian to take part in MotoGP. The official name of the Team is WTR TEN10 Racing. TEN10 will be working with WTR for the next three years under this collaboration. In 2011 WTR-TEN10 racing team will be racing in the 125cc class with Sarath and an Italian Rider on a 2 stroke 125cc bike. After which in 2012 the 125cc class will be replaced by the four stroke 250cc class called Moto3. The team will also be participating in Moto3. Sarath will soon be on his way to Imola for training and he will also participate in the winter testing in Valencia.

According to the buzz in the international media, India could be part of the 2012 MotoGP world championship calendar. With the new F1 track in Greater Noida near Delhi, being ready and just awaiting a final go-ahead for the 2011 Formula One race, many other motorsports majors have visited the country previous month and have been showing a lot of interest in hosting other events in India. Carmelo Ezpeleta the CEO of Dorna, the group which controls MotoGP, had visited the F1 track in Delhi recently and seem very keen on bringing MotoGP to India. The F1 circuit has been developed by Jaypee Group and the top bosses of the firm are also keen to host a MotoGP race in the very near future. We could be looking at being part of the 2012 MotoGP, which also happens to be the first season for the new 1000cc four-stroke rules.
Agostini rides on track again
The Assen circuit witnessed the 80th edition of the famous TT race and to celebrate the event in style fifteen time former World Champion Giacomo Agostini was back riding on track as part of the celebrations. Thousands of fans and spectators got a treat of their lifetime as the legendary rider rode a display lap on the YZR500 OW23 on which he won his last world title on in 1975. Much to the delight of his fans Agostini also took the 2010 YZR-M1, the current race bike of Team Fiat Yamaha, on a celebration ride.
