New Hero Honda Hunk Launched
Hero Honda has launched the new Hunk in Indian market. New Hero Honda Hunk features an array of new features such as digital cosole, tubeless tires, back discs (optional), LED tail lamps, altered visor, ridged exhaust cover, darker colored grab rails, new styling for side panels, body colored mirrors and new colors. Hero Honda new Hunk is priced at Rs. 59,990/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs. 68840/- (on-road, Mumbai) with the back disc option costing Rs. 3000/- extra.
“We are excited to introduce a new version of the successful and popular Hunk. The New Hunk is sportier, sturdier and comes with additional features,” Hero Honda senior vice president (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said.
Hero Honda Launches All New Hunk
Hero Honda, India’s largest two wheeler maker has launched a refreshed version of the Hunk. With the competition heating in the 150cc segment and other two wheeler makers launching new models and versions, Hero Honda has added new features to the Hunk to make more attractive for a consumer.
The bike sports the same 150cc engine which is tuned to meet the new discharge norms. It produces 14.4 ps @ 8,500 and 12.80 N-m @ 6,500 of Torque. The new Hero Honda Hunk gets tubeless tyres, all new visor for the head-light, instrument control with digital speedometer, analog tachometer, LED tail lamps, muffler cover. The bike now gets disc brakes at the front and back which is the second bike to offer a rear disc brake in its segment. Apart form Dazzler and Hunk no other bikes offer disc brakes at the front and back Bajaj will have to re-think for its P150, P180 as well as Yamaha for its FZ series. The new Hunk with a single disc brake at front is priced at 61,310 and with disc brake at both front and rear is priced at 64,310 both ex-showroom Goa.
Hero Honda to launch all New Hunk
Hero Honda is all set to launch the New 2010 Hunk. It is expcted to be launched in few days. Hero Honda New Hunk appears to be a decent looking motorcycle with its small fairing and has tank shrouds.

The tank shrouds are big and New Hunk's tank has good knee recess. Similar to some popular international bikes, New Hunk's telescopic fork is golden in colour. This nicely gels with the 5 spoke black alloy wheels. The gas holder of the rear suspension is also golden. Hero Honda's New Hunk embraces the contemporary black theme - the handlebar weight, alloy wheels, silencer guard and the grab rail of the New Hunk are painted black. Suspension is through telescopic fork at the front and the rear suspension is a 5 step adjustable gas charged one.
New Hero Honda Hunk is expected to feature digital plus analogue instrument cluster which is the latest trend among premium bikes. New Hunk's battery is the same 12V-7Ah and the ignition is through AMI(Advanced Microprocessor Ignition). New Hunk's engine is same as the X-Treme's 4 stroke 150cc engine. It develops 14bhp at 8500rpm of power and 12.8Nm of Torque. Hunk's 150cc engine is mated with a conventional 5speed gearbox. Similar to the TVS CVTi engine the Hunk's 150cc engine produces tumble induction for efficient burning which means more efficiency.
