Hero Honda Launches New Karizma R
Hero Honda India has unveiled the 2011 model of New Hero Honda Karizma R which features new, clear lens turn indicators, graphics, black theme for engine and redesigned engine cowl. Other than these modifications 2011 New Karizma R is similar in conditions of engine power and technology. New Hero Honda Karizma R looks very modish with black mag alloy wheel, double light tailpiece, new fairing, clear lens front indicators, stepped up seat, silencer unit and panel shapes. The fairing isn't a complete which is seen on sport motorcycles but it gels very well with overall design of the bike. Hero Honda Karizma R's engine is same 223cc which develops maximum power of 17bhp. Hero honda is currently selling both Karizma ZMR and Karizma R in India and they have no plans to discontinue the Karizma R as it is selling in very good numbers and is very popular choice among young buyers.
Hero Honda Finally Part Ways
Japanese auto major Honda Motor has officially declared that it will sell its stake of its Indian two wheeler JV with Hero Motors. Both Hero Motors and Honda have agreed to and signed MOUs for a new relationship. The brand name will gradually be shifted from the current ‘Hero Honda’ to the new name. Honda India will also grant new licenses for new products which will be produced and sold under the new brand name. Hero Honda was established in 1984 with a 26 percent investment by Honda and 26 percent investment by the partners with the purpose of developing the motorbike market in India, and started operations in 1985. The company is known for its popular models like the CD100, Splendor, Passion and Karizma.

Honda Confirms HH JV Exit
Honda has confirmed its plans to sell its stake in the worlds numero uno bike maker. The company plans to divest in Hero Honda Motors thus earning $1.2 billion from the sale of its 26 percent in the joint venture which took off in 1984. Honda India plans to sell its entire stake to the Hero Group and investment funds by March, 2011 and wont provide technical support to the company post 2014, when their technical support partnership comes to an end. Will this bring an end to Hero Honda’s dominance in India, or is this the start of Hero groups engineering capabilities being challenged. Either ways, we expect Hero to evolve at the top, even without Honda.
