New Honda Wave 110i

Honda has just revealed a new PGM-FI "cub" bike in Thailand. The new Honda Wave 110i joins its bigger engined sibling, the Honda Wave 125i in the Thai market, which has already been around for quite some time.

The 110cc 4-stroke engine with PGM-Fi fuel injection is said to be 18% more economical than the unit installed in the Honda Wave 100. At the same time it also provides 25% more power. It can use gasohol E20, a fuel that is sold in Thailand at the pumps.

The new Honda Wave is available in 3 series and 8 designs and colours. Features include a key shutter for the ignition, and easy starting without the need of a fuel choke thanks to the PGM-FI sytem. The bike either has disc brakes or drum brakes depending on the variant you pick. It goes for 34,000 Thai baht onwards.

TVS Apache RTR ‘RD’ Launched….

TVS today have launched a new variant of the hot selling Apache 160 RTR. Christened the Apache RTR 160 'RD' the new variant comes with a factor fitted rear disc for a premium of Rs. 2,000, a first for its segment.

The Apache RTR has always been a very competent bike and the addition of 200mm petal rear disc is sure to provide sterling braking performance which will let the rider enjoy the ride even more.

Bajaj to launch XCD sprint in December

Bajaj has officially announced that it will launch the XCD sprint in December. Expectation on the XCD sprint is running high ever since the bike was unveiled at the January auto expo. Espscially when Honda came up with the sporty stunner everyone was expecting the XCD sprint but Bajaj remained mute.

Bajaj today officially said it will launch a new sport motorcycle in December, the third of four products off the XCD platform. Recently Bajaj launched the 125cc platina and last year it launched the XCD. XCD sprint is powered by a 4 valve, DTSi engine developing 12.5PS of peak power and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm. 5 speed tranmission transmits power to the rear wheel. Gas charged suspension at the rear, LED tail lamps and LCD console are other distinct features of XCD sprint.
