Bajaj Launches Discover 150
After the huge success of Discover 100, Pulsar 220 and recently launched Pulsar 135, Bajaj India has launched another variant of Discover. This time it is a 150cc variant which has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 46000 (Ex-Showroom).
In terms of design and styling it was expected that Discover 150 will carry all or some of the design cues we have seen in the Discover Sprint concept which was on display at the 2008 Auto Expo in New Delhi. But bajaj has disappointed the bike lovers as they have kept the design very simple and basic which looks more or less same like the Discover 100. Bajaj Discover 150 will be powered by a 150cc engine which generates maximum power of around 13 Bhp at 7500 rpm with maximum torque of around 12.7 Nm at 5500 rpm.

Bajaj to launch 150cc Discover
To increase volumes of the Discover brand, Bajaj Auto has understood that it needs multiple products with own identities to achieve its target. The company's first step in that direction would be a new 150 cc motorcycle that's meant for the commuter.
The Bajaj Discover 150 would be priced and positioned below Pulsar 150 cc and is likely to cost around Rs 50,000. There will be key differentiators, like the engine will be tuned for better fuel efficiency and the styling adopted will be in favor of the commuter class, to keep the similarly priced Pulsar 135 away from extinction. The DTSi engined Discover, according to sources will be launched in the next 45 days to boost volume of Discover from 80,000 units to 150,000 units a month.
