Yamaha Photo Contest

Yamaha India introduces a contest where you have to click a picture with your Yamaha and you may get a chance to spend six nights and seven days in Japan with your loved one. There are also some mp3 players, cell phones and cameras to be won.

To be eligible for the prize, you need to click an image and enter in one of the categories listed below:

  • Best Background & Yamaha
  • Me & My Yamaha
  • Yamaha at World Heritage

The last date for submission of entries - 31st august and you can check further details on yamaha's official website.

Yamaha launches photo contest in India

India Yamaha Motors has started a photography contest in India, and is inviting all the shutterbugs and bikers to participate in it. Winning entry stands to win a 7 day and 6 night trip to Japan for two, while the runner-ups can win Ipod, Sony Ericsson mobile phones and camera.

To win, all you have to do is capture photographs of Yamaha Motorcycles and submit them to one of the categories listed below:

  • Best Background & Yamaha
  • Me & My Yamaha
  • Yamaha at World Heritage

Yamaha photo contest is open to all and last day submitting entries is 31st of August 2009.

Honda 2 Wheelers Sales up 36% in April 2009

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has reported an increase of 36.27% in its sales during April this year, at 96,782 units, as compared to 71,022 units in April 2008.

At 42,495 units, HMSI's motorcycle sales were up 87.27%, primarily due to the new Honda CBF 125 Stunner doing extremely well in the market. The company's scooter sales were also up 12.33%, at 54,287 units, during April 2009.

HMSI, which recently launched a revamped version of its bestselling scooter, the Activa, and discontinued the production of its geared scooter Eterno, is now looking at launching a new 100cc commuter bike in order to increase its presence in the mass-market commuter bike segment.
