Unlike what Bajaj had planned earlier the baby Ninja will not be assembled in India. This will lead to the price being higher then expected earlier. The Ninja 250R also known as the best 250cc bike in the world will cost atleast Rs. 2.5 lacs OTR. Bajaj will assemble KTM's bigger bikes, like the Duke and RR, at their Chakan facility.
