Castrol partners with Ronaldo
Castrol has appointed Christiano Ronaldo as its Global Ambassador. In his new global role with FIFA World Cup™ sponsors, Ronaldo will be the face of Castrol football initiatives. He will lead new Castrol Edge and Castrol Power 1 brand communication campaigns as well as supporting the full Castrol product range.
As part of the deal, fans from across the globe will be given the chance to come face to face with their hero in a unique initiative that will allow them to experience the level of skill and dedication that led Ronaldo to being named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2008.
Ronaldo commented on his partnership with Castrol saying that he admires Castrol as they have the same commitment to success and winning performances as he does on the field. He further addd that he is honored to be working with them and excited to see how Castrol analyse his own performance.
According to Mike Johnson,Senior Vice President, Castrol, this is a fantastic opportunity where two world class performers, Castrol, the world's greatest lubricant brand, and Cristiano the world's best performing player, are joining forces. He said that Castrol is really looking forward to building on their success through this new partnership.
