Honda Bikes Sales up By 20% in December 2010

HMSI, the countries number 4th two wheeler giant added 20% sales growth in at 140642 units in the month of December 2010 as compared to same month of year 2010. After separation between Hero-Honda, HMSI is reporting good growth in the sales figures. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is 100% subsidiary of Japan based Honda Motors and ready to grab the Indian 2 wheeler market with its latest and most advanced technology loaded vehicles. The company is selling bikes and scooters in India and at the same time exporting vehicles to other countries. The company sold 53821 units of bikes and 76263 units of scooters in the domestic market while 10558 units has been exported to other countries in the month of the December 2010.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is doing well in Indian market and want to get good position so it is planning to launch new bikes and scooters. The Honda is getting booking orders for Honda CBR 250R which is the first Antilock Braking System loaded entry-level sports bike in India. On the other hand, Honda's bikes are continuously earning bike of year awards such as Honda CB Twister won the award of 2010 bike of the year; before it Honda CBF Stunner was the bike of year 2009. The Honda Activa is seating on the top of the scooters sales which always be in waiting period. It is expected that after the split between Hero and Honda, HMSI might lead the Indian 2 wheeler market with its low-cost model that is believed to come here very soon.

Now Book Honda CBR 250R at just Rs 5000

The booking for Honda CBR 250 has started by the company from first of January 2010. The bike is available in 2 variants such as Antilock Braking System and non-ABS. The booking price for the both the models were decided Rs. 15000 and Rs. 18000 respectively. Now the buyer can book Honda CBR250R Antilock Braking System and Honda CBR250R non-ABS with booking price of Rs. 5000, each.

Honda CBR250R is the most awaited bike in India and will be available in the month of April this year. As mentioned, the bike will be available in 2 variants and both variants of the bike will be available in three vibrating shades such as Candy Ruby Red-Accurate Silver Metallic, Sword Silver Metallic-Accurate Silver Metallic and Asteroid Black Metallic-Accurate Silver Metallic. Honda CBR250R is the 1st entry-level light weight sports bike which comes loaded with advanced braking system ABS in the segment while Kawasaki Ninja 250R, which is the first popular 250cc bike in India, does'nt have this advanced system. So it is the major competitor of Ninja 250R in terms of price and features. Honda's CBR series is very rich and big that includes other variant like Honda CBR 1000RR and Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade while after the launch this 250cc bike a 150cc bike might be launched in the end of this year.

Honda CBR 250R price range Rs. 1.5 to 1.8 lakh

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the bookings of Honda CBR 250R and it will start from January 1st, 2010. The bike will be available in two variants such as ABS and non-ABS; the former might be priced at Rs 1.8 lakh and the latter will have a price tag of Rs 1.5 lakh. The bike will be loaded with ABS and CBS (a front and rear wheel interlocking braking system) that make it different and advanced than other same segment bikes in India. The Kawasaki Ninja 250r is the direct competitor of the bike that does not have ABS. Honda CBR 250R has already been launched in overseas market such as Thailand and is getting good response from that market.

Honda is now planning to launch this flagship bike in international stage like America, UK and North American countries before in India. Honda CBR 250R is ready to foray in India with its powerful engine and mind blowing sporty look. The bike is equipped with liquid-cooled 250cc 4-stroke 4-valve single-cylinder DOHC engine that provides superb performance. It is also fuel efficient in the segment, it comes loaded with fuel injection system (PGM-FI) with this a 02 sanser has also been added in it. Both the variants of the Honda CBR250R are having same sepc, features, etc. but ABS draws a strong line between them. The ABS variant of the bike will be available  at around Rs. 1.8 lakh and Non-ABS has price tag of Rs. 1.5 lakh at Ex-showroom.
